A relative had surgery so I went to visit them in the hospital. Compared to the university hospitals I've been to, like Gil Hospital and Inha University Hospital ㅋㅋㅋ this place is really huge. On weekends, hospital visits are possible from 10am. Before going to the ward, I had breakfast at the basement 1 restaurant. The basement 1 restaurant opens from 7am. Haejang-guk (hangover soup) was about 8,000 won, and vegetable porridge was about 6,000 won I think. Salad is also sold at the counter. This isn't the main building but the cancer ward, so there aren't many amenities on basement 1. There's a restaurant, one café, a 7-Eleven, and a Shinhan Bank branch and ATM — that's it. The main building probably has more~ At the café I had an Americano for 2,500 won and a caffe latte for 4,000 won. It's drinkable enough. I hope everyone who comes here stays healthy!

The night before discharge, I only barely managed to get the pain under control after using two kinds of narcotic painkillers plus two regular painkillers, and then the attending doctor said the X-ray showed nothing wrong and told me to leave. An attending doctor I'd never seen before suddenly showed up and spoke down to me as a patient, treating me coldly with an attitude and demeanor like she wanted to fight me head-on. A female attending doctor who, instead of treating cancer, felt more like she'd cause more cancer to develop. I'd always used only Samsung products for life because I thought Samsung was a good company, but this incident really disappointed me. The hospital is one of the 'Big 5,' but the attending doctor's level of speech seemed even cheaper than a neighborhood nursing assistant's.

They told a chemotherapy patient there was no more medication and no more treatment, to prepare mentally, and to go home — and while we've been struggling through each difficult day since coming home, they contacted us saying a newly developed chemo drug has come out and asking if we wanted to try treatment with it. The patient isn't your experimental subject — what exactly are you trying to do? No sense of responsibility, and the attitude toward the patient isn't fit for a doctor. Would you have done that if it were your own parent in that situation?

I can't believe there are this many cancer patients in the world.. You need an access pass to visit. There are a lot of people in front of the exam rooms, so there's a wait time. Waiting 2 hours at the chemo injection room is standard. When registering an open card, there's no payment wait. The restaurants in the basement don't seem to taste that great...

Samsung Hospital located in Suseo, Seoul has the best medical system in place. I hope all patients visiting Samsung Hospital have a speedy recovery.…

I think the facility, medical staff, and employees are all top-notch. Perhaps because there are so many patients during treatment, they don't make time for guardians to ask questions.

I had colon cancer surgery 6 months ago, and today I had a CT scan for a checkup. Thank you, Professor Lee Woo-yong, for performing the surgery so well.

A patient undergoing chemotherapy was told there's no more medication and no more options, and to go home. Incomprehensible. No sense of responsibility.

The general staff are very kind. The cancer ward nurses [passage unclear in the original] — deducting one star.
