We aggregate real, ad-filtered patient reviews of Korean clinics and translate them, so foreign patients can choose on evidence instead of marketing.
Why this site exists
Foreign patients researching Korean clinics run into two problems at once. Most of what ranks in English is written by agencies that earn a commission on the booking, and most of what Korean patients actually write is in Korean, on apps foreigners have never heard of. The result is that the people with the least information pay the most. SeoulVera exists to close that gap.
What we actually do
We collect patient reviews from the platforms Koreans really use — Babitalk, Gangnam Unni, Modoodoc, Naver Place — plus Google, filter out promotional and incentivised posts, translate what remains, and rank clinics on that evidence. We currently hold 507 472 reviews across 18 539 clinics, and we cross-check clinics against HIRA, Korea's national health insurance review body, to confirm they are licensed medical institutions.
How we make money, and how we don't
We sell clearly labelled advertising placements, and every sponsored placement on this site is marked as such in the reader's own language. Advertising does not affect trust scores, rankings, or which reviews are shown. We do not take commission on bookings, and we do not accept payment to remove or bury negative reviews. If we ever change any of this, it will be stated on this page.
What we are not
We are not a clinic, not a medical provider, and not affiliated with any clinic listed here. Nothing on this site is medical advice. We can tell you what a large number of real patients experienced and what a procedure typically costs locally; we cannot tell you whether a procedure is right for you. That conversation belongs with a qualified doctor who has examined you.
Corrections
If you are a clinic and something here is factually wrong — a closure, a name change, a misattributed review — tell us and we will correct it. Being right matters more to us than being flattering, in both directions.
