Overcharging targeting foreigners: absurdly expensive and completely disorganized Chaum Hospital is a commercial private hospital that tries to squeeze as much money as possible out of foreigners. You won't find honest, thorough doctors here who genuinely care about your health. The prices are absurdly expensive. Even basic tests cost 3-5 times more than at other hospitals in Seoul. A test that costs around 700,000 won elsewhere gets charged several million won at Chaum for a similar or even more basic test. Compared to the high prices, the service is terrible, disorganized, and unprofessional. Instead of resolving my health issues, I just spent more time anxious and worried here. I regret choosing this hospital for a diagnosis. Everything was extremely confusing and chaotic. No one clearly explained the testing process, costs, or when the test results would be released. It felt like even the new staff didn't properly understand the system. The interpreter didn't act simply to help me — she acted more like a salesperson trying to hard-sell additional tests and diagnoses. The doctors ignored patients, rushed through appointments, and didn't really try to listen. One doctor even raised her voice rudely. For a place that calls itself 'premium,' the standard of care was way too poor. When I questioned whether a particular test was really necessary, they treated me like I was stupid or difficult, and tried not to have to skip charging for the additional tests. This isn't medical service — it's hard-selling additional tests under the pretense of a 'thorough examination.' Even more absurd: once they sent all the test results and I finished the final payment, they blocked me and stopped contacting me. After that there was no way to reach them, and I couldn't ask additional questions or request accurate test results. This hospital is truly outrageous. Given the amount this private hospital charges, this level of service is unacceptable. In my experience, the communication and aftercare were extremely poor. 🟢If you're looking for a university hospital in Seoul with skilled doctors providing proper care, rather than a private hospital full of exaggerated advertising, I recommend places like Chung-Ang University Hospital or Hanyang University Hospital. You'll experience far more professional medical service and a systematic structure, with fewer unnecessary recommendations for additional treatment. University hospitals are the best hospitals in Seoul. Cham Hospital was a waste of time and money. I absolutely do not recommend it, especially for foreigners.

They demanded $3,000 for a procedure that would cost only $900 at Seoul National University Hospital. The hospital itself is so-so, but the price is absolutely outrageous! It's three times more expensive than a university hospital, yet the service is worse. The interpreter barely speaks Russian, and the doctors lack skill too. I asked a medical question and they didn't even know the most basic things. In conclusion, never go here. They're scammers.

I got a facial and other treatments here. It was okay, but the problem was that they charge foreigners more. I went to other clinics and found the prices reasonable. You can find plenty of clinics that offer better service at more reasonable prices. After that I went to FiNe Clinic, and I really liked it there.

Private checkups are possible. The concept is that the doctor comes to you, rather than you going to the doctor. Everyone is kind and considerate. It feels less like a factory.

I still haven't received my health checkup report, and they're not even replying to my emails. This is truly terrible.
